North Horr Technical and Vocational College is a government-registered TVET institution located in North Horr town of North Horr Constituency in the vast Marsabit County. It is situated approximately 200km from Marsabit town and adjacent to the Chalbi Desert.

The construction of North Horr TVC began back in 2012 and was completed by 2014. Installation of the Milk processing plant, Water purification system and Meat processing plant equipment by AVIC International commenced next and this went on for a while. The institution was opened in March 2020 but due to the Covid crisis then, this was pushed up to September the same year when learning resumed in all educational centers countrywide. The first staff to report at the institution were Mr. George Gitonga (First Principal) and other trainers (both PSC and BOM). The first cohort of trainees was admitted to the institution the same month and learning kicked off successfully.
